It was terrible that Night,on 28 December 2016 I entered night bus traveling from Lagos to Abia State,Aba precisely, when we reach Okada around 2:AM in the morning (29/12/2016) some of the passenger in our bus have sleep while some are still awake,I notice some passenger don't like to sleep in the vehicle when traveling,example like me.
On that early morning around 2:AM in the morning inside Okada there was hold up,and I notice some movement,vehicle was following one way,I look at my right hand side I saw bus carrying passenger moving slowly,he off the head lamp light,I was thinking in my mind maybe arm-robbers are robbing some where,maybe that is why every drivers are following one way.
As I was thinking about that,it does not reach up to three minutes we started hearing a Gun shoots every where,they where shooting in the Air,(harrasing bullet) and it was my first time to see Arm robbers and it is my first time to be robbed,our Drive did not stop or go back he keep on moving forward.
Those passenger among us in that bus that was sleeping,they immediately wake up and the same time we where hearing stop,stop,it was our driver that they where telling to stop,it was that time our driver remembered that he will go back (reversed) as our driver was trying to reverse they shoot on our driver and also on the conductor side both in the front of the bus.
But they where luck to duged the bullet but it was unfortunately that the bullet scratched some one on the head and the man started to bleed,the arm robber shot on our bus tire ( front tire) our driver stop the bus,the arm robbers where shouting open the door,immediately they shot on the door the door open,it happen that,that man that was bleeding carry a big amount of money there with him.
Before the arm robbers will come inside to start robbing us,this man with big amount of money leave his seat and carry his money with blood all over his face and body run to the back lookin for a way to hide his money,it was unfortunate that every one in that bus was robbed,including the man that was bleeding.
They took our phones and money,they where robbing us one after the other,(one by one) any body they robber that person will go down from the bus and go and lay down in the middle of the road,I was at the last seat of the bus,before it will reach my turn to be robbed I have already hide my valuable things some where in my traveling bag,I did not panic because I don't panic.
I was with two phones I hide the most costly one very big and I gave them the small one,before I gave them the small phone I have already removed my Sim Card,as I come down from the bus to laydown as they instruct us the ground have filled up with human beings.
Other Driver that was carrying passengers traveling that night got signal that arm robbers are robbing some where,all follow one way,some buses that was traveling that night that have escort with sirin,Put ON there sirin so that the arm robbers will thing it was Police or Army coming,so that they will run away,but they did not.
After they finish Robbing us it was unfortunately they left with four of our passengers inside the same bus with us,Two men and Three ladies,they where taken inside the bush,one of the lady that was among the three ladies later come back,she was the person that told us that they where taken inside the bush that they did not know where the arm robbers where taken them too.
That she was lucky to come out safely is because as other victims where crying because they don't know where the arm robbers where taken them too,that's how she was crying too,that she even meet those arm robbers leader,and plead with him telling that she is brease feed a baby that she just give bath few months ago,the arm robbers leader ask her to go back to her baby,that she was runing as faster as she can to come out from there hand and from that bush before he changes his mind and call her back or before something else attack her.
Because that time is the time wild animals use to come out to look for food to eat. She told us that was how she lied to them and be save,but as for the remaining Two men and Two Ladies they where taking and be going deeply inside the bus,so we wait for those Four People that was took by the arm robber to see if they will come out but they did not come out,we have no other option than to goto Nearby police station to make an Entry of what just happened few hours Ago.
